2005 Hurricane Season Produces Epic Surf For The Gulf Coast
With a record number of storms, the largest hurricane ever in the Atlantic Basin, and catastrophic effects on Southeast beaches we have finally made it through the heat of the season...and boy do we have some stories to tell!!
Some of the most devastating storms in history produced some of the biggest, cleanest, and heaviest waves that the Gulf Coast has ever seen. Third Coast locals often get let down by windy, blown-out tropical storm and hurricane surf, but this year's storms churned out swell after swell of atypical Gulf surf.
